MERRY Monday Morning!! 

DEFINITELY!! Making my SECOND POT of COFFEE as I write this!!

It was actually a pretty mellow weekend here at the Davidson Homestead! Kate’s friend Jada stayed over for the weekend. John was going a bit “NUTTY” in retirement, so he starts a job on Tuesday! So, PRAY for us… because it means Michele will be cooking!!

Saturday night, before Autumn hit, The Chef barbequed a tri-tip roast and baked potatoes…

GOODNESS GRACIOUS… it was YUMMY!!

By Sunday, Autumn hit with full force, GRAY, WINDY and RAINY!! So, The Chef went to work WHIPPING UP some HOMEMADE chili and cornbread…

Let me tell you, AWESOME!! It was PERFECT for a STORMY night!!

Can you see MY DILEMMA?? The Chef has set the bar SO HIGH, what’s a girl to do??

That’s MY MANTRA!! So, put your hands together and PRAY that I DON’T STARVE my poor family!! On the BRIGHT SIDE maybe I will lose a few pounds!!

Day at the Park!

What a BEAUTIFUL day!!So, this is the reason my Fabulous Friday post is happening on Saturday!! John and I took a picnic lunch and puttered around at Dodge Park, on the Sandy River! It was an INCREDIBLY PERFECT day!!

The Chef has done it AGAIN…John made some homemade enchilada’s!! He even fire roasted the chili’s on the barbeque…Can you say, “DELICIOUS?” OH MY GOSH, they were YUMMY beyond words!!

MERRY Monday Morning!!

HAHA… still fueling up on COFFEE… this weekend SERIOUSLY pooped me out and I am having MAJOR issues waking up!!

It was an AWESOME and BUSY weekend here at the Davidson Abode!!

FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL…John and I were allowed to tag along to the football game, and we even pretended not to know Kate! LOL Kate’s high school, the Reynolds Raiders played The Dalles-Wahtonka…We had TONS of fun!! The home grandstand was packed and the Raiders won 58 – 20!! GO RAIDERS!!

BRITTNEY turns 26!!

We all went out to dinner – Britt & Ryan, Kristi & Jeremy, Brittni, Mairwen, Kate, Brian & Cari and John & I… SO MUCH FUN!! We all went for desert afterwards at Dad and Cari’s! It is just SO HARD to wrap my head around the fact that Britt is 26!! I swear it seems like yesterday when I finally met most AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL girl in the WORLD!!
And for the last 26 years I have had the JOY of watching her grow into an INCREDIBLE woman!! My heart BURSTS with LOVE every time I see her, no one could be more PROUD than I am of her!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRITTNEY!!
I LOVE you more than you could ever comprehend!!

 

Well, the COFFEE is starting to kick in… better go get things done around here!!
