Snow!

We were singing and doing the HAPPY SNOW DANCE on Tuesday night…
Gotta LOVE John’s COOL fleece shorts over the long underwear and slippers look!!
And even though the school was opening 2 hours late, Kate had a mom imposed “snow day!” Because…
- The sidewalks were so “slickery!” Since we rarely get snow, no one owns a snow shovel, so the sidewalks are CRAZY!!
- Any snow plows the city does have concentrate on the west side of town, so the streets out here were a MESS!
- Her high school is up the hill from here and while I am OK with my driving skills, the thought of Oregon drivers and teens behind the wheel in the snow SCARES me!! So, what makes them think I am going to put my kid on a school bus with no seat belts on snowy icy roads??
- And… I am just COOL like that!! LOL

New Look for Blog & Shop!
Have you noticed??
The new header is cleaner and easier on the eyes, I think! The blog is also a bit wider and I cleaned up the side bar a bit. I especially like the brighter look of the new Etsy header on the light gray background…

Pretty Nails!
Vintage Gray…
Pretty CUTE!! While I do LOVE the EXPENSIVE Essie and OPI nail polishes, I have a hard time paying $8.00+ for nail polish!! I have yet to learn to wear rubber gloves, so my nails take a beating and polish, no matter the price, doesn’t last long. So, I found this Vintage Gray from Petites Color Fever, I think I paid $2.99 for it on sale! Of course I had to add sparkles and a top coat, looks kinda “wintery” and has lasted a WEEK!! NO gloves or pampering!!
