It’s MONDAY and it’s also THAT time of year…

So, far be it from me to deprive those CUTE little girls an opportunity to become one with the GREAT outdoors!! My FAVORITE Girl Scout Cookies are the Samoas… I swear they are “cookie crack!!” Samoas go with anything… morning coffee, afternoon milk and of course a bowl of ice cream in the evening!! So, next time you see those poor little girls at your door or stalking you at your local grocery store, remember, “Cookie Money IS Camping Money!”
Other than eating cookies, my weekend was filled with painting Kate’s room…
The lighter of the two purples, Velvet Crest, on the ceiling and top of walls…
Looks more blue, because I took the picture with my cell phone, but it took 4 coats to finally cover!!
Moving on to the darker of the two purples, True Romance, on the lower part of the walls…
Above is 1 coat of paint, at his point, I decide this is going to be VERY time consuming!!
Below is after 3 coats of the True Romance…
You can’t really tell from the picture, but it is not even CLOSE to covering the wall yet!! YIKES!! Not sure if 4 coats will do it, but praying 5 will get it done!! And still the fading effect between the two, which is making me nervous! But on the bright side, Kate was doing a happy dance when she saw the colors, good thing, because she will be living with it until… FOREVER!!
So, a little more coffee and news for me and then off to paint!!
