WAHOO!! It is time to CELEBRATE!!
The NEVER ENDING painting is finally DONE…
SEVEN coats of the dark purple!! Yes, I said SEVEN!! No matter how or when I take the pictures, the walls look blue, but they are a VERY dark purple!! As you can see, we got Kate’s bed set up… pretty cool, eh?!
Today is all about building her bookcase…
I am also putting up a floating shelf to act as a nightstand, so when Kate has friends over and pulls out the guest bed they won’t have to move any furniture!! I thought I was pretty clever with that idea!! LOL We shall see how clever I am when I try to put the shelf up!!
In other weekend news…

So, I better go get building!! The sooner I get that done, the sooner Miss Kate will be all moved into her new room and out of my sewing room!!
